Cookies

Our approach

Light of Stars does not currently use advertising cookies or marketing analytics cookies. On your first visit we ask whether you want to allow non-essential external media from YouTube and Momento360.

You can choose Accept all or Reject non-essential. Both choices are available directly from the banner, and you can change your choice later using Cookie settings in the website footer.

Necessary preference cookie

We use one first-party preference cookie called los_cookie_consent_v2 to remember whether you accepted or rejected non-essential external media. It is used only to remember that choice, is set for up to 180 days and is not used for advertising or profiling.

Hosting and security

Our hosting, content-delivery and security providers may process technical request information and may use strictly necessary technology where needed to deliver, protect and operate the website. These technologies are used for security, reliability and core website functionality rather than advertising or behavioural profiling.

YouTube

The Light of Stars film is embedded from YouTube using the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. The player is blocked until you accept non-essential cookies. Once you accept, it loads automatically on pages where it appears and Google/YouTube may receive technical information and may use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with its own privacy and cookie practices.

Momento360

The interactive Bath Abbey 360° view is provided by Momento360. It is blocked until you accept non-essential cookies. Once you accept, it loads automatically on the Projects & Approach page and Momento360 may receive technical information and may use cookies or similar technologies in accordance with its own privacy practices.

Changing your choice

Use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time to reopen the banner. If you reject non-essential cookies after previously accepting them, the website removes the external-media embeds from the current page and keeps them blocked on later pages unless you accept again.

You can also use your browser settings to delete or block cookies and other site data. Deleting the Light of Stars preference cookie will make the cookie banner appear again on your next visit.

Changes to this notice

If we introduce analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking in future, we will update this notice and the consent controls before those technologies are used.
